The location is good, about 10 km outside Salzburg, but there are many lakes nearby. The bus to the city takes about 25 minutes and stops right next to the hotel; tickets are free. There are plenty of free parking spaces. Breakfast is tasty, and the staff is very friendly. We forgot a jacket in the room when we checked out, and on a phone call it was sent to us immediately at no cost.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, especially for us early‑rising folks, as it opened at 6:30 am. The hotel facilities were adequate for us. The staff were attentive and helpful. The bus stop right in front of the door was great, because we could use the free bus to Salzburg and Bad Reichenhall with our guest card. There are also ample large parking spots directly in front of the building.

The breakfast, rooms, and overall setup were great, making it a superb stay. The only downside was that the location, while on our bike tour, wasn’t near one of the beautiful lakes we were hoping for.

There is a large indoor and outdoor play area for kids, complete with art supplies and a playroom; my six‑year‑old was very happy there.
