The reception lady on the evening shift was very kind, the minibar, coffee, and mini sparkling wine in the room were nice touches, and the proximity to Gran Vía was convenient; the bed was very small and not very comfortable.

I liked the location and the cleanliness of the room – everything was very clean and well maintained – but the noise was the biggest issue; the hallway was loud, the walls were thin, so you could hear almost everything from the rooms next door, and even though my room faced an inner courtyard, the hallway and other rooms were still bothersome; if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs.

The location was excellent, we got a spacious room with a terrace, which was a plus.

The spot is simply convenient, and the complimentary water is a nice touch, but the photos were misleading – the room was old, cramped, and the bathroom felt claustrophobic with terrible lighting. If you need to apply makeup, forget it – the cover is broken, the bathtub is stuck, and you have to lie sideways. The beds are noisy and uncomfortable, the door lock is half broken, and the building looks poorly maintained; you can hear every noise, even when you try to snif. Resting is impossible, and the price is outrageous for such a shabby place – I will never return.
