The location is perfect, the kitchen is excellent, and the staff are incredibly helpful. It’s a very quiet spot, and you can even swim in the Little Danube, where the staff will arrange everything for you. The only drawback is that there are no blackout curtains in the rooms, so you’re woken up at 6 am.

The room was tastefully furnished, and the area around the pension is very nice. The base location is great; you can reach the aquaparks Veľký Meder, Diakovce, Dunajská Streda, Malkia park, and Slovakia Ring by car in under 30 minutes. The accommodation is in a cornfield, right next to a haystack, and the whole property is mainly for events. We were there with kids and only used it for sleeping. On arrival the restaurant was closed, so a lady handed us the keys; she slipped them into my hand and left before I could ask anything. We had breakfast included for the whole stay, but after the first day we decided to eat elsewhere. Breakfast was supposed to start at 8:00, but we waited until 8:10 in front of a locked restaurant with no staff. At 8:10 a car stopped outside, and two men got out, walked past us without greeting or interest, and disappeared into the restaurant. About ten minutes later a man returned and called us over, saying breakfast would be ready soon. He handed me drinks that I took to the table myself. The restaurant was untidy, chairs were laid out, and nobody turned on the lights. Breakfast finally arrived around 8:40, and it was a disaster for the two adults and three children aged 8, 11, and 13: we received eight egg breads, scrambled eggs made from about ten eggs, and a bowl of tomato salad. No bread, butter, tea, or anything else. I had to cut the scrambled eggs with a knife, and they were hard. For this culinary “masterpiece” we were charged 50 € (15 € of that for juices). To top it off, during the entire breakfast the phone in the restaurant rang and nobody answered. After about 20 minutes a lady flew into the restaurant, again without greeting, loudly took the call, and left. At the start of our stay we were excited that the property had a restaurant and that we could have dinners there, but after this breakfast experience we preferred to dine at nearby restaurants. It was a big disappointment in terms of food and staff attitude.

Comfort and simplicity. The only issue was the lack of soap in the shower and no hair dryer.

The room was modern and spacious, and we really felt comfortable. We had a view of the Little Danube. The room was warm enough for winter, and it also had air conditioning. Parking is included in the price. The entire property includes a restaurant with a wide selection of truly tasty dishes. The staff were very helpful. Definitely worth a visit! The only minor shortcomings were a single hanger and a missing trash bag, but these did not spoil the overall impression.
