I was delayed on the flight and even though I missed check‑in time, Anna waited for me and gave me a superb room. The accommodation feels extremely authentic, more like a museum. I had the most beautiful stay here. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Everything I liked.

The reception was very friendly, thanks to Anna and others. But the place itself was rudimentary.

It’s nice that water and coffee are unlimited. The place was clean. The location is quite good. Even though many aspects didn’t appeal to me, the woman who welcomed us tried hard, was kind, caring, and helpful. It’s not her fault that many parts of the property are falling apart. The key to the room seems to fit all doors on the floor, if not the building… In my house it would definitely fit the wardrobe. The decorations can be overwhelming because the building is a former monastery; it didn’t bother me, but others might find the atmosphere too exposed. There are figurines, crosses, and prayer accents everywhere. Bathroom: the paint is sloppy, the soap containers are refilled with unknown stuff. Still clean. Room: light from the bathroom, through a window above the door, illuminates the whole room; the window’s logic is total nonsense… The promised air‑conditioning turned out to be a noisy “penguin” that sounds like a tractor working in a field! Dirty, clogged with dirt clumps, spraying dust, mites, and grime all over the room. It seems no one has checked it since it was plugged in… Turning it off at night raises the temperature to 30 or more degrees, while leaving it on means sleeplessness because it rages like a combine or tractor. Nightmare. It really was a terrible night for me. THAT IS NOT AIR‑CONDITIONING. Because of that unit I didn’t close my eyes until dawn. The pipe from the unit has to be outside, so you can’t close the windows. Elevator noise is very noticeable. In my opinion, one night in that room was too much. That was the only night I spent there, and the last in Apulia, the worst of the two weeks. I was hoping for just one human‑sized stay before the flight home.

Phenomenal stay. It's such a soulful house filled with kind people who care. Quintesential southern Italian experience! The stay offers tea and coffee, there's a nice cozy terrace available for general use, and the staff is very friendly! Location near train station was additional plus for me
