We could only enjoy the luxurious hotel for a short time, but the facilities were great, the beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic.
The staff were very nice, courteous, and service‑oriented. The castle itself is beautifully and lovingly restored, giving the feeling of a fairy tale. Absolutely recommended for special moments. The only issue was poor communication between Booking and the castle Frankenberg’s reservation system.
“Must go back !”
While driving across Germany we found this beautiful place: a hilltop castle carefully restored into a hotel, restaurant, and winery. We tried some of their excellent wines with dinner, slept very comfortably, and enjoyed a well‑curated tasty breakfast. Our stay was on a Monday night when the Michelin‑starred restaurant was closed, so we had a great reason to return. Nothing – every detail was perfect.
“A beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings”
The secluded luxury and stunning location were impressive, but the only downside was the absence of a bar for drinks.
“Heeeerlijk”
The surroundings were beautiful, the rooms were lovely with fine beds, and the staff were friendly. The bathroom ventilation was a bit noisy.
