“natura senza mediazioni”
The experience at Ras Abu Galum is unique, perfect for anyone seeking an immediate connection with nature. Suspended between sea, mountains, and desert, Cosmos lets you fully immerse yourself while minimizing human impact and respecting the place. The essential huts have very simple services, a rustic yet enjoyable kitchen with freshly cooked dishes shared communally, all in very clean, waste‑free surroundings. The environment is fantastic: you dive straight into a coral setting, and 50 metres south the barrier begins—exceptional and easily accessible. You can climb back up to the boarding point about a kilometre, a memorable spectacle that changes with each dive. Heading north, a 40‑minute walk leads to the Blue Lagoon, a beautiful spot that feels like a tourist trap; for me it’s best visited early in the morning before the crowds arrive. Cosmos is fabulous, but you need to know if it suits you first. For me, it was a lot more than enough!
