Ulladulla Harbour Motel

“The whole Ulladulla stay was awful & the motel experience just made it worse.”

The large parking area fit my vehicle and trailer, which was the only good thing. I spent 40 minutes standing in the cold before the staff finally answered the phone and intercom to give me the code for the key. Even the “emergency” phone number was not answered. When they finally answered they just said “yeah?” and didn’t greet me with a hello or confirm it was the motel number. It was highly unprofessional. I then spent another half hour wandering in the cold looking for the room, which was hidden behind a door that wasn’t clearly marked and was invisible in the dark. All internal lights were off, and the curved staircase was dangerous; I tripped and stumbled several times in the dark, feeling my way with my phone’s light. I finally found the room but there was no bathroom. By the time all this was over, the place I had booked for dinner was closed because it took well over an hour from the motel arrival time until I finally got into the room.

We always choose this spot for a quick weekend getaway – just a short walk to the restaurants, shops and the harbour, making it super convenient.

The location is spot‑on, and the staff are genuinely friendly and always ready to help whenever you need something.

The location was great, quiet, and clean. The room was small, there was no toaster, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable.
