The room was clean and the location was good; it had everything we needed, but breakfast lacked a full English menu, and we spotted flies in the dining area landing on uncovered yogurt, jam, and other items after we had eaten.

The village setting was lovely and the old pub nearby was nice. There was no on‑site parking. My room was very noisy because it sat above the restaurant, so mice kept coming in late at night and again early in the morning. The morning staff even started playing music as soon as they arrived, which didn't help. Someone from the bell desk should stay in that room to see how noisy it really is.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean and bright, and food was available. However, the parking information was misleading; the property doesn’t always offer parking, and the car park is used for outdoor seating except during winter months.

This is a lovely place to stay for a few days of rest and relaxation. Caelum and Izzie looked after us royally and did everything possible to make our stay perfect. Thank you guys. The food was spot on, and we’ll be back.
