“Peaceful stay close to Ubud”
The bungalow‑style village is a peaceful retreat; four decent‑sized bungalows each have a small eating area with a sink, a bar fridge at the back, and a front porch with seating. The AC works well, the queen bed is comfortable, and the mosquito net is handy. The open Balinese bathroom is classic, and the pool is a nice size for a refreshing dip after a hot day. Breakfast is tasty and filling. Being 4 km from Ubud, a scooter is convenient, or you can use Grab/Gojek. Staff Koman and Wayan are attentive, helpful, and very friendly, and I enjoyed chatting with Koman about Balinese life and culture—plus soccer, of course. The country setting means you’ll hear some animal smells and noises, but that didn’t bother us much, and we liked the greenery with butterflies and birds. The next property is a little temple, and we heard locals singing—bliss.
