“Amazing!”
Exactly what I wanted in a beautiful Victorian setting; the staff were friendly and super helpful, making a delicious pizza on demand and even offering to drive me when the Uber service cancelled.

A real haven, with a lovely setting and Richard as a superb host, giving great local recommendations and outstanding hospitality.

The spot was nice and quiet, and the room even had a full‑size fridge with a freezer, which was handy. Unfortunately the towels felt like old rags—thin, worn and pretty stiff. The double bed left only about 15 cm of space on each side, making it a hassle to climb in and out, and the linens were really dated.

I slept like a log; the bed and pillows were spot on 💤💤. The only hassle was trying to find a parking spot, which was a real pain.

Even though the weather was lousy, the gas‑heated pool and spa kept the kids entertained for hours. It was a relief to have warm water on a cold day.
