The location of this hotel is perfect – it's just off the main road, making it easy to find, and it's within walking distance to a bridge that offers stunning views of the Shirahige waterfall.
The onsen was absolutely fantastic, a real highlight of my stay.
The room was spotless and the hot spring was a real highlight.
The meals here are top-notch, and I was really impressed with the quality of the food.

The Standard Twin Room provides four single beds, sleeping up to four guests. Air conditioning and a tea‑and‑coffee maker are available for climate and refreshment. The private bathroom features a bathtub and a shower.
The staff were friendly, but the bathroom stairs were slippery and the food selection was poorer than at other hotels.
The early dinner was good, but the pillows were unsatisfactory.
The dinner buffet was tasty, but the bathroom lacked a bidet, which was surprising, and the room had only one power outlet, so I couldn’t charge two phones at once. The shower tap was an old‑fashioned mixer, the wash‑basin offered almost no space and you had to put items on top of the toilet tank, which meant a woman couldn’t keep her cosmetics there. I had to borrow a hair‑dryer from the front desk, and the men’s razor was a single‑blade type that left my face bleeding.
Dinner impressed me with ikura and steak that were worth more than the price, and the rice was tasty; the room was spacious, yet the lack of a chair was inconvenient, the open‑air bath had a poor footing and got uncomfortably hot at night, and the bathtub floor was slick and unsafe.

The buffet was good, and the blue pond was easily accessible.
