I really liked the location—it’s very scenic and lets you unplug from daily stress. I booked an apartment for four adults and two kids, but the place wasn’t suitable for all of us. When we arrived, the sofa bed wouldn’t open because it was out of the guide and very dirty, and we only had four pillows. So the booking felt misleading; if I say we’re six, I expect the apartment to accommodate everyone and the sofa bed to be ready for the price paid. I also found a cotton swab on the bathroom floor. Overall, cleanliness could be better, and the kids’ playground had many broken plastic toys.

“Servizi da campeggio, velleità da agriturismo”

The surroundings are beautiful, especially in autumn. Our stay had several objective problems, shown in the attached photos: hygiene and cleanliness on arrival—the accommodation had an unacceptable level of cleanliness, we found fecal residue under the toilet plate (which we had to clean ourselves with special cleaners), noticeable dust accumulation, and the kitchen wasn’t properly sanitized. Laundry communication: only the day before check‑in we were told that bed and bath linens were not included in the rate (over 150 € per night), forcing us to pay extra or arrange it ourselves. Structural issues and leaks: the host sent a message the last night asking us to dry the bathroom floor because leaks reached the unit below during shower use. There’s also visible, widespread mold around the shower perimeter. Comfort: the mattress was excessively thin, resting directly on wooden slats. Given the price, we expected professional standards of cleanliness, maintenance and cost transparency, which were missing.

The location is perfect for a beautiful trek up the Cimone. After paying a nice rate for a night with the family, I would have expected the breakfast and linens to be included, but they cost €10 per person for towels and sheets, plus another €10 per person for breakfast, adding up to €80 for a single night. The quality‑price ratio is not the best.

“We came to race the World Hard Enduro Series, and the resort was so amazing and accommodating.”

The restaurant was amazing, and the staff were very accommodating for my riders’ needs who came to Abetone to race the Hard Enduro World Series. Danille, the manager, was amazing even with her broken English. Nothing else; they were amazing.

The area is gorgeous, set in the forest, very quiet and ideal for families with kids, and there’s a nice little playground. The restaurant’s food is also very good.
