Andong Park Hotel is a cozy, slightly old‑fashioned place with a very friendly English‑speaking receptionist who handed us an information sheet with a city map, bus stops, and the departure times of the important buses right away. The hotel is 5 minutes from the restaurant street and also 5 minutes from the bus stop to Hahoe. We felt very comfortable there and would come back anytime. The only drawback was the very hard mattresses.

The location, the quality of the bed, the space, and the elevators were all pluses! Near everything, an excellent café at the reception available all the time, a great spot for a short stay at good prices. The downside was the smell in the bathroom—apparently a sewer reflux that comes back every evening and through the night; opening the window helps a bit.
