The dinner by the river was idyllic.

The setting was beautiful both inside and out. We dined by the water, with seasonal fruits and vegetables from the garden, truly delicious. Thank you for this enchanted pause!

The welcome was warm, the place sublime, and the garden at the end of which the Charente flows was magnificent, sumptuous and generous. Dreamy swims surrounded by shimmering dragonflies, majestic swans, and cheerful ducks. Delicious, refined, homemade dinners made from garden ingredients… a delight. Hearty homemade breakfasts. A marvel. And then there was Sylvie, our host, discreet but attentive to every detail, who with gentle kindness ensures our comfort. Pure happiness. A very nice room. Impeccable cleanliness throughout. We highly recommend. It’s a magical place! We loved everything.

I liked the quality of Sylvie’s welcome, the room’s cleanliness, the easy access to the river where we could swim with pleasure, the excellent dinner cooked with garden vegetables and local products served by the water, the quality of the breakfast with homemade jams, the size and décor of the room, and the large quiet garden. It was just great, we’ll return!
