“Not worth your time or money”
When I booked, the hotel charged me €120 for the night as if I had paid in advance. At check‑in, they added a €100 security deposit that was an actual charge, not a hold, even though we were only staying one night. At check‑out they told me I still had to pay for the room; I explained I had already paid, but they said it was a separate charge and couldn’t apply it to my booking. So for a room that cost €120 I ended up paying €340 for one night. They refunded my €120 within 24 hours, but the €100 deposit was not returned after five days, so I emailed the hotel and they told me to contact my bank because they had processed it at check‑out. Conveniently, the €100 then appeared, so I doubt they actually processed it until I followed up. The room was only okay; there was a black mark on the duvet cover that looked like a stain and just felt dirty. The restaurant had plenty of tables when we went down for dinner at 8 pm, yet we were told it was fully booked; we explained we were hotel guests but they said no. We found a bar next door for food, and when we returned 45 minutes later the restaurant still had plenty of empty tables, which was very disappointing. Overall I would not recommend this hotel.
