Everything was perfect! The large bed is incredibly comfortable, the room is spotless, the hospitality is outstanding, and chatting with Oshan was a breeze.

It was new and clean, but construction is happening, people walk around all day and the noise starts early in the morning. That ruined our sense of privacy and we had to keep the curtains closed all the time, so if you want to relax, it might not be the best choice.

Villa Rosewood is brand new, impeccably clean, and the bed is very comfortable; the shower has good water pressure. I chose an upstairs room because I like brighter spaces. There’s a table outside that I used for work when the weather wasn’t too hot. The Wi‑Fi was excellent—fiber, about 45 MBit down and 25 MBit up. I chatted a lot with the owners, who are wonderfully friendly. They provide a drinking water filter, which I find essential and high quality. It’s a 20‑minute walk to the center, and since I was there off‑season most places were closed or empty, so you might want to head to the center more often. The walk is pleasant during the day; bring a flashlight for nighttime. The only caveat is to check whether the location works for you, especially off‑season when walking to the center takes about 20 minutes.
