The reception was very friendly and helpful, and the view from the room is amazing. The location is quite far out, but it’s super quiet. It could definitely be better isolated, as it’s very noisy.

Casa Lamelas is perfect for a quiet getaway, yet just a short drive from several villages worth visiting (Vicedo, Barqueiro, Viveiro…). The hosts are very friendly and close, there’s daily cleaning, and the rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast is super complete. We loved the recommended Morgallón‑Río Sor route that starts right from the hotel, and we also did a canoe trip on the ría from Barqueiro. The only downside (which didn’t bother us) is that you need a car for everything (except the route), and the road to get there is a bit narrow. Watch out for wild boars at night as they roam the nearby villages and cross the road.

The dining room and garden, both overlooking the ria, featured a circular table and a stone bench. Parking was ample enough for all guests. The house sits right next to a road, but the road is very lightly trafficked. Breakfast could offer more variety if you stay several days.

The calm atmosphere and the hospitality of Jose and his family were outstanding.

The house was set in an exceptional spot with views of the Sor River and only 15 minutes from O Vicedo, perfect for disconnecting. The owner was very helpful. To improve, I would suggest adding a power outlet in the bathroom and a hairdryer, which they kindly lent us! The setting is super quiet, though sometimes you can hear noises from other rooms.
