We stayed for two nights. On the first night, guests in two neighboring rooms were extremely loud, talking, laughing, and drinking. Before arrival, we were sent a comprehensive list of hostel rules, which stated that quiet hours were from 23:00 to 7:00 and that ignorance or non‑compliance did not absolve responsibility. The next morning, I wrote to the owner asking for action, and received the reply: “Those were rooms 5 and 6 on your floor until 1 a.m.; what am I supposed to do with adults who are ill‑mannered and disrespect others even after being warned? Maybe the owner should intervene more so that guests listen.” First, guests shouldn’t handle other guests – that’s the owner’s duty to ensure a comfortable stay. Second, I’m a 50‑kg woman, and that man told me to go calm the drunk people. When I replied that we shouldn’t handle it and that the rules warned of penalties, the owner didn’t respond at all. This situation ruined our impression of the house.

The location was fine, but there was an extra charge for towels, a long rule book with many penalties for everything, a filthy room with dust and cobwebs, mold and mildew on the bathroom tiles and under the shower, a carpet that looked chewed in the photo, and zero comfort. As an allergy sufferer, staying in the room caused breathing difficulties, coughing, and a runny nose. The only plus was the location.
