The design and style were impressive and very well thought out. The apartment was spacious and clean, and we enjoyed the private patio with its wildflowers and wildlife. The location is fantastic, set off a main but quiet road with a regular bus service, and walking locally was great—we strolled to Thorpeness and Aldeburgh. Coffee and homemade cake on arrival were lovely, and breakfast was made with high‑quality ingredients and cooked to order. The only downside was that the dogs were friendly but would not leave you alone at breakfast once they got to know you, and the bed frame had some loose slats that we fixed.
