“Great location and stay”

The hotel sits right in the city center and offers a free shuttle to the airport, which is very convenient, and the rooftop restaurant and some rooms provide great views. However, the staff didn't know much about local tours and activities, though otherwise they were fantastic.

“Good choice!”

The hotel is in town, with modern, up‑to‑date facilities and a reliable shuttle. The nearby Inuit Café serves great food, and surprisingly, excellent Sri Lankan dishes too. The restaurant itself is very scenic, almost as good as the Hotel Arctic. Rooms on the first and second floors with high numbers (> 8) are close to a back road that can get noisy at night—sometimes a motorcycle with no muffler—and I recommend asking for higher floors and lower numbers (< 8).

The location is very central, so most places are within walking distance. The rooftop restaurant offers a wonderful view, the rooms are very clean, and the Wi‑Fi is excellent. The staff were helpful, printing a couple of documents for me at no charge, and breakfast had plenty of options. The hotel is quiet, though the room itself was small. The reception area is spacious with plenty of seating, so it works as a secondary sitting area. Dinner at the restaurant was overpriced and not very good.
