I was thoroughly underwhelmed by the 5-star hotel I stayed at, which lacked even the most basic amenities. The absence of a concierge service and informative leaflets left us wandering aimlessly, only discovering the nearby attractions and shops as they were closing. The lovely pool and rooftop bar were a highlight, but unfortunately, they were understaffed and we were unable to enjoy them.

Our stay at the hotel had its moments, with a wonderful view from our room and a varied breakfast spread. However, there were some notable shortcomings - the shower was not warm enough, and the WiFi connection was weak.

We were initially impressed by the hotel's modern design and stunning bay view, but unfortunately, the service fell far short of our expectations. Communication with the staff was a significant challenge, as none of them spoke decent English. We struggled to find information about local activities and were left waiting for an inordinate amount of time to check in. The restaurant was closed at 9 pm, and we were told they didn't have hamburgers, despite ordering hours earlier.

I was impressed by this hotel's modernity and its focus on Asian guests. Unfortunately, I visited shortly after a severe storm had damaged the area, and the hotel's rooftop pool and skybar were closed. It was frustrating that the staff didn't inform me about this when I asked. Despite this, I appreciated the hotel's efforts to cater to its guests.
