“Stopover en route east.”
The hotel matched the website description, was quite large and had all the facilities we wanted; Wuhan as a tourist town offers little, but the Han Water Show was excellent and worth recommending.

Good location near Hongshan square subway from the railway stations

The hotel is very beautiful, close to the metro station and the river, and the room is very nice; the room had a cooling problem and I asked reception to swap it, which they did, but the second room had a slight smoke smell that was a bit annoying; with some air fresheners it was better, and there was an issue with the bathtub drain not opening during use.

I’d rather stay elsewhere because the rates are higher and the quality lower. The staff don’t speak English, the breakfast is strictly Chinese, the rooms are larger than usual but feel old, and the whole place smells like smoke from many guests.

Convenient transport links and a short walk to the metro exit, plus a varied breakfast each morning and courteous staff, though the shower head had a slight hiccup.
