“Ich war nur zum Schlafen im Zimmer. Das war ok”
The room was on the ground floor and directly on the street, so I couldn’t open a window at night because it was too loud, and as a woman I didn’t feel comfortable even with the window only slightly open.

I was greeted with an exceptionally friendly and accommodating reception, and they even let me choose between two rooms. The room itself was on the side rather than facing Gögginger Straße, so it felt more protected. It had a wide, comfortable bed, a well-equipped bathroom, a wardrobe, a large round table, a fridge, and a kitchenette—all very pleasant and practical. There was also a balcony with dark, relatively dense curtains that could block out light. The only downside was that my neighbors were quiet, but the building seemed a bit sound‑prone.

I knew the loud street ran past the building, but at night it was surprisingly quiet, which I appreciated. I was also pleasantly surprised by the mini‑kitchen with a fridge that I really needed. The TV had a note on the table with a jumble of numbers, letters, and symbols that I, over 60, couldn't decipher. The room was on the ground floor, so there must be basement rooms according to the sign. The large bed was fine for one person but probably not for two. The shower was new and spacious. The TV was far too small, and it sat too far from the bed. There was no clear instruction manual, so I couldn't figure out how to watch TV.
