The rule that you must wear a one-piece swimsuit to use the pool was absurd; I was forced to buy one on site, otherwise I couldn't enter the pool at all.
“A brief and final encounter”
The location could make this the best hotel in Douarnenez for comfort, so next time we’ll try another one to see. It quickly became clear that if you had better booking conditions you were put to the back of the queue for check‑in—16:00 check‑in hardly gives you enough time at the resort to enjoy the facilities if you’re staying only one night. The young bearded man at reception had no sense of humour and seemed adamant that we couldn’t check‑in until 16:00, although I suspect our room was probably ready. There seemed to be no organisation—just one long queue, with a second person present if available. However, they let us use the car park early, which allowed us to walk into town (15 minutes walk to a decent seafood restaurant). The breakfast menu was quite minimalistic—perhaps that’s what you expect at a “spa.” Two types of unimaginative cheese were available; isn’t France known for its cheese varieties? The reception needs some attention—no clear organisation and not very friendly staff, as noted above. A few lessons in smiling techniques might have helped.
“Lovely short stay at hotel with a nice pool.”
The location, the friendly and helpful staff, and the pool were all great. The price was a bit high, and it would have been nice to have a sea view, but the upgrades cost a lot. Breakfast was crowded, and I would have preferred tea or coffee served at the table instead of using a machine.
“réconfortant !”
Extraordinaire endroit. La chambre est grande. Vue mer magnifique. Grand confort. Un petit déjeuner délicieux. Les équipement y sont un peu vieillots. L'hôtel mériterait une rénovation
