My daughter‑in‑law booked three nights for me, my husband and our grandson, but it turned out to be a total let‑down. The place sits in a remote community with no shops—no water bottles, no convenience, and the advertised location is misleading; it’s about a half‑hour drive from Paraty’s center. We felt stranded, especially with an elderly couple and a child, and we left early feeling more stressed than relaxed. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The inn is right next to Paraty’s best beaches and about 25 km from the town center, which is ideal if you’re beach‑focused but not great for city‑goers. Vera is friendly, Kelvin is very helpful, and the check‑in/out flexibility made things easy; the air‑conditioning, pool, and fresh breakfast were all solid. The surrounding area feels like a quiet, leafy village, and you can order snacks by delivery or head to the nearby Sertão do Taquari for more food options.
