The landlord was easy to reach, the private sauna and pool were great, the location was convenient and quiet, and it was quick to get anywhere; however, the place was not clean and everything was dusty, the landlord had asked the cleaning company and waived the tourist tax for us, the reception at the campground was hardly staffed and the restaurant was barely open.

The host was super friendly and uncomplicated, the park was great, the holiday home was lovely, we had a wonderful time there, would recommend and would gladly come back someday, but there was no freezer and the shower drain needed cleaning.

“Perfect home for Netherlands vacation with kids”

The lodge was well equipped and very convenient for a family of two adults, two kids and a baby; the yard was amazing, the kids loved playing in it, the sand and swing were a hit, and the holiday park “De Ijsvogel” was also great—just a minute from the lodge you find a large outdoor playground, a small football field, a trampoline, an outdoor and indoor pool including kids’ pools, which the kids adored; the only downside was that the air conditioner was only in the living room and didn’t reach one of the bedrooms, which faced west and became boiling hot on warm days.

“An incredible chalet, comfortable and relaxing. The holiday park is very stylish, lovely restaurant and pool. Very clean”

We had total privacy, an enclosed terrace with BBQ, a hot tub, a fire pit area and a sauna; the beds inside were very comfortable and the AC was exactly what we needed because it was very hot in July, and overall it was absolutely lovely, we couldn’t fault it at all.
