A charming little cottage that lets you wander the island; it’s quiet and not too far from the stunning spots Norfolk has to offer. I can’t really find fault with this place, but if you’re looking to be right in the middle of the action, you might find it a bit too quiet.

The spot’s great—rural vibes, mountain views, and only 10 to 15 minutes from most of the island. Every morning I snorkeled at sunrise in Emily Bay, just a 15‑minute trip away. The veranda was huge, complete with a BBQ that my friends and I used a lot while staying in the adjoining units.

If you’re after a peaceful, calm, and stunning setting, this is the place. It’s simple but has everything you need in a beautiful environment—ideal for nature lovers who don’t want to be surrounded by other guests. It did have a slightly musty smell, but after airing it out and lighting a candle or two it was just fine.

Everything needed was supplied—clean, quiet, private, and it was easy to buy supplies or go out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There was nothing to dislike; everything was supplied.
