“A wonderful, comfy and clean room a short stroll from the station that was hassle free for an over.”
The station was close enough to be a real convenience. The room was spotless and the temperature was just right. I’d have liked more pillows because the ones on the bed were a bit thin. A TV would have helped drown out the noise from outside the room and the neighboring toilet.
“A brilliant location for a reasonably priced room.”
The spot near Euston Station and The Shaw Theatre was spot on. The place was very clean and tidy. I had trouble finding the light switch through the main front door, which felt a bit intimidating at first.

“you pay for what you get. could have been so much better ~”
Overall the place was in a great spot, only about a 5‑minute walk from Kings Cross, and it was clean when I arrived late. A staff member let me in without any hassle. The downside was that I was in the cellar right next to the communal kitchen and toilet, which was noisy around 3 pm when a few guests seemed to be making a lot of noise (that’s how it sounded). You have to remember the tube runs just a few feet from the property, so the rumbling is constant. If I came back, I’d ask for a top‑floor room. At 6 am, being below ground, all I heard was the local brewery delivery crew unloading barrels and bottles, with all the shouting between the driver, crew, and pub staff—definitely not a pleasant way to wake up. I was exhausted when I left and even left some clothes and regalia behind by mistake. I’m still waiting to hear back from the hotel.
I paid for a room that was suddenly cancelled last minute over the weekend because it was no longer available. The hotel offered no further assistance.
