“A wonderful start to our trip… highly recommend.”
The location was excellent, the room was spotless and the beds were comfy, and the staff’s hospitality was top notch—very helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend it. There was nothing to complain about.
“Highly recommended”
The location was good, the room was warm and cosy with quality bedding and towels, and the bed was comfortable. The food was nice and the staff were really pleasant. Parking was a 5‑10 minute walk away because an event was on the square, which wasn’t ideal since it was raining when we arrived, but the hotel arranged free overnight parking.
“Lovely place to stay in Grassington”
A great pub‑hotel for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, and a bonus that it’s the Drovers Arms from C5 All Creatures Great & Small. Keep in mind it’s an old property, so rooms have quirks that reflect that. The staff were lovely and the food was very good—just as good as other places in Grassington, which keeps everyone sharp. There’s no parking, and it’s a lottery whether you get a spot outside in the village square; a National Trust car‑park is a couple of minutes’ walk away. I’d happily recommend it. The chairs in the room were tired and the carpet wasn’t great. We had a plumbing issue when we checked in, but it was fixed right away. Breakfast is freshly cooked, so allow an hour.
“great location, lovely staff”
The place had a lovely location and staff, but the room was a bit small and parking was problematic.
“Lovely stopover in the Dales”
The atmosphere was like a friendly pub, the staff were very helpful, the room was great and the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was fabulous. Nothing to add.
