It fits the need for a simple, no‑frills stay in a good way. The price is reasonable, but the stains on the walls of the room bothered me a little.

The most remarkable thing was the home‑like warmth and kind hospitality. I stayed two nights without a room, and it felt as reassuring as going back to my parents’ house. It’s not very close to Matsumoto Station, but when I used the circulatory bus, the routes were clear and felt like a tour of the sights. The old‑world feel gave me a sense of nostalgia, and the cleanliness covered that.
I had a comfortable stay. There were no particular issues.
The owner of the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist. The surrounding area is peaceful and daily necessities are nearby. The town is a bit far, about a 15‑20 minute bus ride, but that distance only adds to the tranquil atmosphere.
