“Buenas instalaciones en el centro de cuenca”
Good location and facilities. The pillows feel like concrete blocks.

The beds are very good, both the mattress and the pillows.

We stayed in the suite on the top floor, which offered a bit of a view over the city. The rooms and the hotel itself are nice and modern. The location in the center of Cuenca is good: buses to the historic center in the upper town are not far away. Many restaurants are nearby, as is the bus station from which you can reach the AVE train station. In the center of the lower town, where the hotel is, the life of locals plays out; the tourist quarter is more the historic center in the upper town. Breakfast costs 8 Euro, it’s simple but varied, I found price and value completely okay. The staff comes across as somewhat reserved and uninterested. You don’t feel truly welcomed, but rather watched with suspicion. The so‑called terrace for the suite is actually just a narrow, surrounding balcony, with only a single chair in the depth and accessed through a low window. Opening the window and stepping outside to enjoy the view is enough, but that’s it. A terrace (!) is definitely something else! The painter did a poor job on a wall, it didn’t look nice, or perhaps an old water damage was poorly repaired. The beds (French) are relatively narrow; that’s fine for petite people, but I’m a bit taller. The rather gloomy breakfast room is also not very inviting.

The cleaning was decent, but the bed collapsed as soon as you sat on it—terrible. I wouldn’t come back.

The location and the staff were good. I just wish there had been parking.
