The location, the pool and the staff’s friendliness were great, yet the room wasn’t cleaned as it should have been for a 4‑star hotel.

The food was excellent and plentiful, with a wide selection of meat and fish, and the waiters were friendly and welcoming; the location was good, just a few steps from the sea, and the scenic pool was a highlight. However, the maintenance of the rooms and corridors was poor—parquet was lifting, skirting boards were loose, walls had marks in several spots, furniture was scratched and losing paint, and tiles were loose. For part of my stay the air conditioning didn’t work (so the room was hot) and the water was only lukewarm, almost cold, making showering unpleasant.

The pool was wonderful because it was always warm, but the shower jet was really weak.

The building was nice with a sea‑view room and convenient location, great kitchen and polite staff, and the cleaning was good. The only flaw was the bathroom, whose finishes were somewhat damaged compared to the otherwise perfect room.
