“Sehr gut”
The staff were very friendly. The Eco Lodge is a bit out of town; we explored the village and found someone offering a “taxi service”.

The location was great, but I strongly advise against staying here if you’re elderly or sensitive to heat. There is no air conditioning and no easy water source, so you have to be careful with rising temperatures.

We liked the eco‑lodge’s charm and the staff were very helpful; even without air‑conditioning the fans let us sleep fine, and the hike to the sea was pleasant though longer than the 10‑15 minute walk advertised. However, the property showed signs of neglect—loose taps, a toilet that didn’t work properly, and kitchen gear that was scarce and of mediocre quality (a dull knife, bendy cutlery). Arriving as a group of five, we found only four plates and not enough utensils. The curtains were thin, few, and see‑through, so we ended up moving kitchen curtains to the bedroom to cover all the windows.

The surroundings were nice, but we had no chairs or table. If there’s a kitchen to cook, where do you eat? We sat on the bed, with nothing to put our luggage or clothes on. The sheets were dirty and smelled damp.

It was a calm, beautiful bamboo hut with a lovely bathroom. During heavy rain, water seeped inside—though that might be due to the unusual weather, including a bizarre storm that evening. The hut wasn’t set up for four people, which was disappointing, and we missed two chairs, leaving no extra seating.
