Grande Cache Hotel

“We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and restaurant and we will stay there again for sure.”

We really liked the property. Our room was comfortable and clean. The water and ‘treat’ that was left for us was a nice touch. Although we didn’t have time to sit and enjoy the available fire, we sure wish that we did. That was a unique feature to offer. We had dinner, and a breakfast at the attached restaurant, and both meals were amazing. The staff were so sweet and kind. We will definitely stay, and eat there when we pass through again

The surrounding of the hotel, the view was stunning. I like the outdoor fireplace and sitting there. The morning breakfast was delayed as I am diabetic and I take my insulin and it was too late that my sugar level got low. Also, the security charges I don't understand for what they charge and if it's a security charge then they should return it or refund it as I paid extra $300 as a security over the full price of rooms which was not mentioned to me before I book the hotel and I didn't understand why and don't like it.

“We had a good stay and I would stay here again if ever in the Grande Cache area!”

The location was great—right next to a co‑op grocery, a café, and restaurants. Parking was plentiful, and everything in town was easy to reach from our spot. The staff were friendly and the place was reasonably clean. The continental breakfast included free coffee, fruit, and muffins or cookies, which we appreciated. The hotel felt very dated with old fixtures and furniture, so a few upgrades would help. We expected this for the area and were still very happy with the stay.

“Nice comfortable and keep away from main stream rush without compromising the travel charm”

The beds were comfy and the shower worked well, and the maid did a great job cleaning; the location was super convenient, close to shops and a pump, and the fire‑bondage sitting area on the lawn was really nice. The only downside was that breakfast was very short.

“Vind de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding niet reëel.”

Breakfast and dinner were served in the adjoining restaurant and were acceptable, but the picture made the place look nicer than it actually is. The old‑fashioned hotel reeked of outdoor fire smoke, the air‑conditioning was mediocre, there was only one chair in the room and no second seat available, and I got the impression that the lower‑quality rooms were being handed out, since I saw other rooms equipped with a bench.
