The owner told me in very broken English that my reservation hadn’t been confirmed and offered me to stay in his room without refund or anything else; I ended up having to pass through a sliding door to the “staff only” area. On the first night a gecko trap with dead geckos appeared right in front of my bags. The entrance area was only semi‑inviting, and the pillows were very hard.

Everything was clean and the owner was friendly. My worst night on a long trip, with a lot of noise in the hostel. I slept in a four‑bed dorm that had two showers and two toilets. Behind the sliding door was an eight‑bed dorm, so all 12 backpackers used the same bathroom as the four‑bed dorm. The bathroom doors were very thin, letting everything in. I couldn’t sleep at all because the whole night was filled with constant meetings and closing sounds. In short, it was impossible to sleep even with earplugs.

There was a bit of road noise at night that wasn’t there. Some guests just don’t know how to shut their doors quietly; hopefully they’ll learn that someday.

Everything was great, the hosts were both so cute, and the hostel had a real Thai vibe. The location was nice, just a 10‑minute walk to Krabi’s center. The toilet and shower in the room were a downside.
