The concept was appealing, but the air filters were filthy, many light switches didn’t work, the shower light was very dim, and the bathroom fan ran 24 hours and wasn’t quiet. Traffic noise was higher than expected, and there were ants around the coffee station in the pool house. Water wasn’t refilled for bottles in that area. For $450 a night (minimum 2 nights) I would expect not to have to take out my trash or clean dishes before leaving. I was very disappointed.

We loved the area; the proximity to local establishments was great! We didn’t have to go straight to Newport and deal with traffic. It was only a 10‑15 minute drive to downtown Newport. The downside was that there was no pathway to the vineyard next door; they told us not to walk on the road because there were no sidewalks, so we had to walk through grass, which was difficult with a stroller and slippery when wet.

“Clean, comfortable, and great location”

Swimming pool, no contact check in and check out. Very clean, great grounds. The window air conditioner that was installed due to central air conditioner not working

“Clean stay ruined by boisterous neighbors and no overnight assistance”

The place was clean and the front‑desk staff were friendly, but I stayed on the first floor and the noise from the unit above was too easy to hear—like a pin drop—and the guests upstairs were loud and boisterous from 9:30 pm to 2 am, so I couldn’t sleep; I called the emergency maintenance number twice and left a voicemail, but nobody answered, and when I told the front desk the next morning they just said the loud guests had checked out—sleep is a basic expectation, and the lack of night‑staff support made the stay very disappointing.

“Would like to stay again! Very nice place! More like condos!”

The lodge was very clean, but you could hear people in the rooms above you.
