We booked two rooms for our family of six. The bathrooms were tiny and not particularly clean, water pressure was weak, though hot water was reliable. The worst part was the strong sewer smell that filled the property each morning, waking us all up. That odor made the stay uncomfortable and heavily impacted our overall experience.

The river sounds and the host’s kindness made the stay even more relaxing. All essentials—towels, soap, shampoo, free drinking water—were provided. The area stayed peaceful and quiet at night, perfect for rest. Wi‑Fi was excellent, even though the property was fully booked. Our group of eight, including drivers, shared the space with other guests. For those who had bad internet before, it seemed to be a provider issue, not the property. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The only drawback was that access is via external stairs, with all rooms downstairs; this was fine for most but my 85‑year‑old mother struggled with two flights of stairs, so the place may not suit guests with mobility issues. The street level looked unfinished, though it might have been intentional, as the van driver could park there easily. Because the river flows nearby, insects can sometimes enter the rooms, so use the insect screens on the windows and keep the toilet door closed at all times, since there is no screen in the toilet.

Nearby the city centre, the staff were very pleasant, and they let us stay free before check‑in time. Besides the room, a kitchen and seating area were available inside the building. Everything else was fine.

The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. Ms. Dorothy was very accommodating and helped organise a guide to visit the area. Construction in the neighbourhood could wake you up early, but that is not their fault.
