Everything! An amazing place. The staff, the food, the cleanliness, and the peace of the house and surroundings were all top.

I liked everything about the Geral. The amenities, the pool, the location, the atmosphere, the staff’s availability and friendliness, the good breakfast with that Alentejo bread early in the morning… The room had everything needed for a short stay, the décor was classic, and the night‑time silence, being on the balcony and seeing the starry sky, was top. Price/quality is recommended and I’ll definitely return. Because we’re a bit “isolated,” I tried watching TV to kill time, but the signal was super weak along with the internet, so I got total rest.

The view was great, especially the sunrise, and I liked the small terrace. However, the welcome was almost nonexistent, leaving us feeling a bit isolated.

The property is stunning, featuring a lovely salted water pool and rooms that are very clean and spacious, each with a balcony offering an amazing view of the Alentejo's prairies. It’s ideal for those who want a quiet retreat with only birds, cicadas, and farm animals as background sounds. Breakfast offered a wide selection, from fresh fruit that changes daily to small fresh croissants, fresh cheese, jams, and more. The staff and owners were super friendly and professional, and we’ll definitely return! It would have been nice to have a small coffee shop for lunch or dinner, even if it were just small bites inspired by Alentejo, but that might be intentional and I can’t criticize if that’s the case. There’s also a short drive to nearby villages with coffee shops and restaurants, so it’s not a big deal.

The location is isolated in the middle of nature.
