The pool was the best thing—nice size, pleasant temperature. When we arrived, the first thing we noticed was that all the dishes we needed had been washed, yet everything was coated in grease. Two bowls were unusable, so we had them swapped. A handle on a large pot was missing, and we received a different one. The strainer at the bottom edge was so dirty we wanted a new one. The described toaster was missing, no knife for cutting. The kitchen fronts were crooked, the sink area was damp and smelled musty. The kitchen seems to date back to 2007. The bed made a squeak on the first night with the slightest movement, so we couldn’t sleep. The next day someone tightened all the screws on the metal frame that the mattress sits on. The mattress smelled of urine. I asked for an exchange, but it was denied because none were available. They then generously sprayed something that only briefly improved the smell. Unfortunately, by the second day we already had ants on the stove and countertop. We requested Borotalco powder (Deopuder) sprayed at the entrance, but it didn’t work. The ants even sat in my pantry drawer, so I had to discard those items. I bought two bait boxes myself and set them up, which helped a bit. The guest bed is not suitable for adults. It’s in the kitchen, and sitting on it feels like sitting on wood. There were only three small soaps in the toiletries. The worst were the two weddings on 5.9. and 6.9., held there. Music played until 1:30 am and quiet only after a complaint at 2:45 am. Two nights without sleep. Two days where the pool was not allowed after noon. You can’t host such events and still claim to be a quiet place for guests.
