“Lovely updated property with relaxing common area by the river, close to restaurants and hot springs”

The property and our room were nicely updated, the bed was very comfortable, and the common area behind the property beside the river was lovely with a grassy area, grills for guests, lounge chairs, and a fire pit; however, our room hadn’t been serviced when we checked in because of a housekeeping miscommunication, but that was fixed quickly.

“Great choice”

It was a great stay and Saratoga is a cute town, though the air‑con made weird noises.

“We needed a place to stay for the night and The Riviera was able to accommodate us, which we were thankful for!”

The spot was great, but it felt a little pricey for October.

The location was easy to reach and the beds were comfortable, and the rooms stayed clean. However, the window looked straight at another building, and the traffic of cars and trucks on the road was quite noisy. Also, there is no lift, so if stairs are an issue, request a downstairs room.

There was no breakfast, but two excellent restaurants—Hen and Harvest and Bella's Bistro—were just a short walk away. The owners have done a very nice job upgrading the property, with comfortable beds, clean rooms, and pleasant grounds along the river.
