This guesthouse in Siwa is a restored, authentic salt house and the room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had been updated and the shower was good. Air‑conditioning was available, but the thick walls kept the room cool so we only used the ceiling fan. From the rooftop we had a great view of the castle and the city. Every morning we enjoyed delicious breakfasts on the patio. Rose served a lot of food with many different choices each day, mostly an Egyptian breakfast with falafels, beans, roasted veggies, eggs, etc. Rose is a wonderful host—kind and generous—and she arranged a one‑day tour of the Temple of Oracle, Salt Lake, Cleopatra Springs, and Fatna Island. The driver was excellent; we would recommend him. This property is truly unique and enhances your stay in Siwa.

The beauty of Siwa is partly captured by this inn. The house, built of salt and earth, looks as if it grew naturally from the desert. The bedding was unexpectedly soft, wrapping you in comfort all day, and even the toilet had a faint, pleasant scent. The host was like an oasis in the desert, always asking if you needed help before you even spoke. She found the best guide for me, ensuring a perfect day, and on the day of departure she even accompanied me to the station, waving from the window like a farewell to an old friend. Her smile, like the salt house itself, was simple yet healing. I couldn’t take the sand of Siwa with me, but I left with that warm memory.

Établissement très bien placé, à l’entrée de la vieille ville et à 150 mètres du centre ville. Maison traditionnelle et charmante, terrasse wifi etc rien à dire Je conseil vivement. Rien
