Mel is an exceptional host and wonderful cook. Waking up to the colourful pandemonium of king parrots, bush turkeys, cockatoos, wallabies, and fairy wrens was amazing! Seeing a huge goanna in the rainforest on our lovely bush walk was a bonus. We loved every minute. Nothing; I loved the views and the peace and quiet

The B&B was a real treat – every little detail was thought out. The wood‑fire stove in the room added a cozy touch, and the extra little perks made the stay feel special. Breakfast and dinner were top quality, especially with the local produce that made each meal feel unique. If you want to unwind surrounded by birds and woods, with all the modern comforts (mobile reception aside), this place hits the mark.

Nestled at the foot of Barrington Tops, the setting is gorgeous and the grounds are a delight to wander. Birdwatchers will love the king parrots, and the property is full of charming little details. Breakfast was a five‑star affair – real tea, not bags, and the homemade bread was fresh. We dined there both nights, and the meals were just as impressive. Mel was friendly and well‑versed about local sights.

We couldn’t find anything to criticize – everything was spot on. The only thing that made us wish we could stay longer was how good everything was.
