The hotel is beautiful and right in the center of Curitiba, perfect for family stays and calm business meetings, so I recommend it. The room was close to the kitchen and we woke up early to the noise of a fruit juicer.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the room had no light and the windows were dark.

The historic hotel is stunning, and what impressed us most was the excellent service from the staff, all very polite and friendly. The beauty of the hotel is a separate highlight. The hotel also offers a great menu. Breakfast is varied, with fresh foods and a fixed menu, yet also diverse over the days. Lunch, the paid buffet, offers good value. To improve, a café or tea could be served as a courtesy in the afternoon, with fresh cakes. It’s good to enjoy in the shared area or in the very nice hotel restaurant. Special mention to the staff who serve the restaurant. Finally, the bistro is great for dinner with excellent starters, main courses, and desserts. The room is also quite spacious and the cleaning is meticulous. Every minute spent here was worth it, and we’ll return as soon as possible. Everything was great.

The coffee was great, the location was good, and the building and reception were nice. The toilet seat in room 203 was horrible, with cracked plastic that hurt when sitting; it should have been replaced sooner. When I entered the room the bathroom smelled like a septic tank, but they cleaned it after we asked. If there had been no other room of the same category (there was only one in front of the elevator), we would have had to pay an extra 250 because there were no options, according to the information. In my view, they should have offered a replacement at no extra cost since the problem was in the bathroom.
