Very good. Just cross the street to swim with the turtles.
Every member of the staff was kind and helpful, and the seaside breakfast was nice. The bathrooms, though, are a bit dated.
“3 giorni di puro relax e martaban”
The location is excellent and the staff are fantastic, always smiling and very helpful. The entrance to the property isn’t the most welcoming, and the maintenance could use a bit more attention.
“Humilde pero ellos son encantadores”
The staff at the resort were extremely friendly, and the breakfast was pretty good. However, the place feels quite shabby; it's not dirty, but it looks very neglected.
“Esperaba más de este alojamiento.”
The location, the pool, and the beach breakfast are all positives. Being at Turtle Point, about a 15‑minute walk from the port, means you’re free from port noise and mosque sounds; you can easily carry luggage on the main street without needing the poor horses. The pool is better than in the photos, with two sections: a front one that’s a bit neglected and a back one that’s cleaner and better maintained. The beachside restaurant breakfast is another highlight, offering a good variety—yogurt, muesli, granola, not just scrambled eggs—and complimentary warm croissants. The beach at Gili isn’t ideal for swimming because it’s hard to get in, but it’s great for snorkeling; we spotted a huge turtle within five minutes. The facilities are run down, and cleaning is only regular. The price‑quality ratio is low compared to other Indonesian accommodations (over 50 € per night). The worst part is that the rooms are very poorly maintained and not very clean. The bathroom looks like a pool locker, covered in tile, with the sink near the toilet and shower, all quite dirty, with mold, but functional for sand and quick use. Rooms aren’t cleaned daily, and sheets and towels aren’t automatically changed; we stayed only three nights, so we didn’t need that. Another big drawback is that the curtains that block light barely cover the glass door at the entrance, so when dawn comes—quite early—it hits you in the face. I expected more from this place.
