The breakfast was normal, the suite was spacious, but the room was a bit dark. The place is pricey—both the restaurant and the bistro are expensive, so we didn’t go. A few dishes were reasonably priced, but others were costly (there was caviar in a bistro). The magret was tough.

The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms, pool and restaurant are all very good. The staff are excellent—the real gem here is the staff. The gastro restaurant’s food is excellent. The location on a roundabout makes parking difficult and not easily available. There’s no lift, so with a knee issue it was hard to get to the room, but it didn’t ruin the stay.

The service, welcome, cleanliness, room, and the building itself were all stunning. We were a touch disappointed with the food—only a bistro because the gastro was closed—and the pool was unusable due to likely maintenance issues; the streamer was clogged because it hadn't been emptied, blocking the pump, so the water was murky and not fit for swimming.
