“Tante scale per chi arriva a piedi”
The managers offered me an upgrade for one night with my little dog to the best room next to the terrace, which I appreciated. The breakfast hostess was friendly and welcoming. The price was very high, even compared to other places. The area allows for high prices, but in my opinion it was excessive for the quality/price ratio. It is inconvenient for those who walk in; there are many steps and steep paths if you have luggage. I would suggest a deeper cleaning of the bathrooms. The shower in the best room was cramped. The reception was professional but overly formal and detached, in my view.
“Il personale è giovane e simpatico, ma nel complesso l'albergo ha un'aria vecchiotta e trascurata.”
Even though the hotel does not have a real parking lot, they offer a permit to park for free in paid or limited public street parking, which is very useful. The breakfast was good. The room was small, the furnishings were very sparse, there was not even a chair to sit on. The bathroom was tiny, with very few amenities and a microscopic shower. I have an average build, but I struggled to fit in and move around enough to wash. In the room there was a kettle and only two tea bags. I asked the reception for instant coffee packets, they replied they didn't have any and the kind girl literally said, "That kettle is only for tea!" Is that a possible answer?
“Struttura sbagliata per soggiorno famiglia”
The morning buffet was well‑chosen and the ladies at the dining room were kind and eager to help, but the overall value didn’t match the price: the air‑conditioning in the rooms was an old, noisy model, the furniture was fairly new but the bathrooms were subpar, the spaces were small and neglected, finding a parking spot was a nightmare with no spaces on the street and a ten‑minute walk from the car, and although we had booked two adjoining rooms for a family of four in June for an August stay and received email confirmation, we arrived to find the rooms on different floors; when we raised the issue at reception the reply was rude and unhelpful, so we won’t be returning.
“Tutto ok”
The location was quiet and the staff were kind. The breakfast was good but repetitive.
“Weekend all’Argentario”
The room was beautiful, large and clean, with a fantastic sea view. The location was great, close to the center but far from the chaos. The price was a bit high.
