The location is theoretically good because everything is within walking distance. Communication went smoothly via Booking, so check‑in was hassle‑free. Tap water was available. The place was extremely dirty, especially the kitchen which made me feel sick and was barely usable. No trash or dishes were cleared, so everything was sticky and stank. The terrace was full of pigeon nests, with birds flying around all the time and the floor covered in feathers and droppings; it wasn’t cleaned daily either. The bathroom had standing water the whole time. Directly opposite is the Kulturcafé, which plays loud music and karaoke every evening, so if you’re looking for quiet at night, this is definitely the wrong spot. The listing mentions an outdoor gym and a library, but the landfill right across from the property is not mentioned. It’s really disappointing. Luckily, Mazunte itself is such a great place that it somewhat balanced the experience. It’s a shame to pay this amount for such a place!
