The design and details are beautiful. Situated right on Lake Biwa, the views are amazing. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and a lounge. The meals perfectly showcase Japanese cuisine. The only small issue was the presence of little lake bugs.

The meals were very good, though the sukiyaki was a bit too strong for our taste. The restaurant and shop staff were calm, kind, and gave a pleasant impression. When checking in, the staff spoke quickly even though it wasn’t particularly busy, so I had to figure out the elevator location and floor from experience, and after entering the room I had to double‑check the pamphlet again.
