“Es un lugar bonito para descansar”
The staff were very good and the rooms were very good. When the curtains were opened, every window had bird droppings, and the restaurant didn’t allow dinner service.

The location and view are phenomenal, the spa and pool are enormous, and this place has become a favorite of mine; there are nice spots around the area, and overall everything met my expectations.

The staff were truly outstanding, always on hand with a smile and eager to give good service, from the receptionists who parked my car and served coffee at breakfast to the few people who lugged my luggage up to the room; without them the experience would have been miserable and the hotel should be very grateful for their work. The rooms, however, felt very dated, with old TVs that had no internet, a sink and shower showing clear limescale, even the showerhead itself covered in it, and I can understand the hard water in the area but they should have fixed it before it looked so worn. The windows were smeared with bird droppings that clearly weren’t from just this week, and despite the spectacular view the panes were completely obscured by the stains. The hallway carpets were ripped, and the spa was only okay—several cabins either didn’t work or ran at reduced power, and there were no massage services in August, plus some tiles were loose. The restaurant was pleasant but only opened by reservation, offering no regular lunch or dinner service and no room service, which is unheard of for a 5‑star hotel in Spain, so you have to drive 12 minutes to Toro for any meals. The air‑conditioning was weak, cooling slowly and unevenly, with some units not working at all. At €330 a night the limited services, half‑functioning spa and overall condition just aren’t worth the price, and I wouldn’t return unless they undertake a deep renovation and rethink their offerings.
