How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The room was huge and ultra‑modern, set inside an 18th‑century building that gave the whole place a lot of character. Being right within the old‑city walls meant everything was just a short walk away, and the staff were always ready to lend a hand.

The spot was spot‑on for getting around, and I loved the lounge downstairs with its board games – the bed was also super comfy. Unfortunately the taxi driver seemed lost and the price of the room felt a bit steep for what you get.

This place was fantastic – I’d definitely stay again and tell friends about it.

Our room was fairly spacious, really charming and cosy, and the view over the rooftops was a nice touch; the location was perfect and the staff were friendly. On the downside, the rate felt high given the lack of services – no valet, no bellhop, no pool or gym, and we weren’t told about the board games, massage chair, or complimentary drinks that could have made the stay better.

Staying on Rue‑St‑Jean put us right in the middle of great shops, cafés and the main sights of old Quebec, and the room lived up to the description – two comfy chairs, a desk, and a bathroom that checked all the boxes with a towel rack, warming rack, plenty of counter space and soft night‑time lighting. The ground‑floor library offered a pleasant spot for groups with books and games, and the staff were helpful without being intrusive.
